Founded in 2011, The House of Kadence, a faith-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals who have experienced domestic violence, homelessness, or involvement with the Child Welfare System due to domestic violence. Our mission is to assist these individuals on their journey to healing, self-sufficiency, and self-advocacy, and self-autonomy while ensuring all interactions are conducted with the utmost respect and dignity. We proudly serve the Metro Detroit area, including Wayne County and select cities in Oakland County.
Our vision at The House of Kadence is for all individuals to live their lives free of violence, systematic abuse, and trauma in the state of Michigan.
